At the 2024 World Car Awards, Kia’s EV9 not only grabbed attention but also clinched two of the most prestigious titles: World Car of the Year and World Electric Vehicle. These awards underscore Kia’s steadfast innovation and leadership in the electric vehicle (EV) landscape, marking a historic moment for the automaker with its fourth and fifth wins since 2020.

The Kia EV9, a standout for its modern engineering, offers a glimpse into the future of electric mobility. It combines an innovative design with a spacious interior that comfortably accommodates seven passengers and competitive pricing. Notably, it is Kia’s pioneering venture featuring fourth-generation battery technology within the E-GMP platform, enhancing its overall performance and efficiency.

The accolades received by the EV9 were the result of a rigorous selection process led by a panel of 100 automotive journalists from across 29 countries, evaluating vehicles on innovation, design, and performance.
